Dal caos del linguaggio delle idee alla trasparenza delle scelte condivise sulla cultura dell’abitare

A partire dalla green economy e dall’ecosostenibilità ambientale continueremo
ad interrogarci sul senso dell’abitare.

Dopo le tappe milanesi partite l’11 giugno dalla Triennale e concluse il 22 luglio alla Design Library, il ciclo d’incontri, *il laboratorio dell’Industria dell’Abitare, riparte da Settembre e proseguirà tutto il 2010 facendo tappa nelle principali città italiane, per discutere con i protagonisti, intellettuali – professionisti – imprenditori, e con voi cittadini, sulle trasformazioni delle forme dell’abitare. Con aperture, scambi e contaminazioni tra Energie alternative, Urbanistica, Sociologia, Eco pensiero, Architettura, Design, Edilizia, Costruzioni, Real Estate, Tecnologia, Arte, Arredamento, Cultura verde.

Un Parco Regionale tra Nord Milano e Brianza

LA PETIZIONE
Per un nuovo parco regionale tra Nord Milano e Brianza centro-occidentale
Contro il crimine, in difesa dell’ambiente, per garantire la vivibilità

La parte di territorio del Nord Milano e della Brianza centrale situato tra la valle del fiume Lambro a est e il
Parco regionale delle Groane ad ovest è una delle zone più urbanizzate della Lombardia (e d’Europa) e una
delle zone dove negli ultimi anni si è maggiormente diffusa l’urbanizzazione, con la conseguente erosione
degli spazi liberi a margine del tessuto urbano esistente e spazi liberi in aperta area agricola. In questo scenario vivono circa 450.000 persone. L’urbanizzazione media in questo territorio, riferendosi ad un’area ristretta di 19 comuni, si attestava nel 1999 al 62% circa. Oggi tale soglia è al 65%. Ma non basta, nei pochi spazi aperti rimasti si aggiunge la presenza sempre più frequente di recinti impenetrabili, di terre scarificate, di depositi a cielo aperto, di discariche abusive e di aree di lavorazione.
Un territorio “tutto pieno”, quasi senza più aree di rallentamento, silenzio, penombra, campagna, natura e sempre più “pieno” di attività criminose.

La ‘ndrangheta infatti ha avuto un ruolo non marginale nella attività di nuova edificazione, nel condizionare le scelte urbanistiche, nel promuovere un esplosivo consumo del suolo ed anche nel degrado dei pochi spazi aperti residui (fatto salvo che nelle aree tutelate dai due PLIS, Parchi Locali di Interesse Sovracomunale, del Grugnotorto-Villoresi e della Brianza centrale).

Per questo è importante creare un nuovo parco regionale contro il cemento e contro le mafie, per una migliore vivibilità del territorio urbanizzato, per sviluppare una nuova agricoltura urbana e per favorire le connessioni ecologiche tra i sistemi ambientali lombardi. Un parco che confederi i due PLIS esistenti e si allarghi a molte nuove aree oggi minacciate da nuove urbanizzazioni e sottoposte a degrado.

PERCHÉ UN NUOVO PARCO TRA IL NORD MILANO E LA BRIANZA È VITAMINA VERDE
La costituzione di un nuovo parco regionale in questi spazi risponde allora a sei fondamentali esigenze.

1) In primo luogo il mantenimento di questi spazi e la loro riconversione ad un mix equilibrato di verde fruibile, di percorsi pedonali e ciclabili, di agricoltura sostenibile risponde ad una esigenza di vivibilità di questi territori da parte dei loro abitanti.

2) In secondo luogo l’istituzione di un nuovo parco regionale in un territorio così delicato e sottopressione è l’unica modalità con cui realmente si può dar seguito ad un compito ecologico – ambientale fondamentale, riconosciuto dallo stesso Piano Territoriale Regionale (PTR): la creazione di un corridoio ecologico ovest-est tra il Lambro e le Groane.

3) In terzo luogo l’istituzione di questo nuovo parco si propone di frenare i molteplici processi di infiltrazione mafiosa e della criminalità organizzata che punta a riciclare denari nel settore delle terre e dell’edilizia. Il parco diventa così elemento di sostegno ad una politica più generale di rispetto della legalità e un simbolo di opposizione a questo sistema criminoso che, in più, soffoca e priva di valori paesaggistici i centri della Brianza.

4) In quarto luogo l’istituzione di un nuovo parco regionale risponde all’esigenza di accompagnare un processo di riconversione e rafforzamento delle attività agricole rimaste, valorizzando la produzione a km zero, le possibilità di conversione delle imprese verso la multifunzionalità, nonché la possibile funzione educativa e sociale.

5) Il parco valorizza il fatto che il suolo non edificato è una risorsa multifunzionale: conservazione della biodiversità, produzione di cibo, sequestro di carbonio, mancata emissione di CO2, produzione di biomassa, base per la vegetazione e quindi della produzione di ossigeno, regolazione idrica, etc. In un’area così congestionata come la Brianza centrale, i suoli liberi sono un bene comune e una risorsa scarsa.

6) Infine, l’istituzione di un nuovo parco regionale intende raccogliere, sostenere e dare continuità ad alcune iniziative locali faticosamente emerse negli anni più recenti, come i due PLIS istituti (e un terzo in via di formazione). La realizzazione di un nuovo parco sarebbe occasione di connessione fisica, ma anche di messa in rete delle esperienze di gestione e di costituzione di un’unica, razionale e leggera struttura di gestione.

Per tutte queste ragioni ci appelliamo ai cittadini, alle associazioni, alle forze politiche e alle istituzioni locali affinché sostengano questa iniziativa.

The Ecohousing Art Manifesto
Indissoluble balances which elevate environmental sustainability and integration between nature and built up environments, a psycho-physical wellbeing and an increase in positive values: man is at home in the world and the world finds its home in mankind.
Space is both individual and social: it is the balance of mankind. Living spaces in ecological living integration means “being at home”.
Space is vital: it goes beyond the physical man-made place. It is a fundamental dimension of human beings in their individuality and social integrations.
Space is the world:natural energetic, integrated, unambiguous, universal
Space is man: a breathing organism which consumes and regenerates
Space is the eighth skin: it is a transpiring membrane which covers, protects, represents, limits and gathers
Space is a bundle of feelings: creatures and objects live together in order to reach a balance which is both physical and spiritual
Space is beauty: we need to fight for beauty because one cannot live without beauty
Space is an ensemble of structural elements which are functional, intellectual, and creative and which are intertwined with one another. When one of these elements changes, there is a change in the relationship between the elements and therefore there is an alteration in the system as a whole
Living means questioning ourselves with regards to our existence and to our actions inside the material structures which constitute the world of mankind.

The “visions” of the protagonists of Ecohousing Art
Artists: they are called upon to design and create by means of any technique and material. These artworks must express something; they must sublime the values of the Ecohousing Art manifesto. The artist goes beyond the denouncing the status quo: the artist is a scientist, a cultural and philosophical operator. He creates artworks by means of openness, contaminations and exchanges for public or private spaces and environments.  

Designers: they are called upon to design and create by means of any technique and material. Designers must design internal or external environments or instruments which express and sublimate the values of the Ecohousing manifesto. A designer is a scientist, a cultural and philosophical operator. He creates works by means of openness, contaminations and exchanges for public or private spaces and environments.

Architects and Engineers: they are called upon to design and create* housing structures, buildings, neighborhoods, urban aggregates, green areas, infrastructures which express and sublimate the values of the EcoHousing manifesto. Architect and Engineers are scientists, cultural and philosophical operators. They create works by means of openness, contaminations and exchanges for public or private spaces and environments.
(*) From the creation of a model which is applicable to homogeneous morphologies to the analysis of a specific territorial reality, to the requalification of an existing structure (residential, commercial, industrial or public)

SECTIONS - ECOHOUSING ART CONTEST

Junior Category:
Art: Art school students who have celebrated their 18th birthday before October 31st 2009. Artists between 18 and 30 years of age (celebrated before October 31st 2009) Design: students enrolled in the following university level courses: Architecture, Art Academies, applied art institutes. Designers between 18 and 30 years of age (celebrated before October 31st 2009)
Design: students enrolled in the following university level courses: Architecture, Art Academies, applied art institutes. Designers between 18 and 30 years of age (celebrated before October 31st 2009)
Architecture, Engineering: students enrolled in university level courses in architecture or engineering. Newly graduated architects and engineers who aren’t registered in the Engineer Register or in the Architect Register. Students enrolled in technical and art institutes who have celebrated their 18th birthday before October 31st 2009 or holders of simple high school diplomas with no age limitation.

Senior category:
Art:Artists
Design: Architects or professional Designers, companies and Studios. 
 Architecture – engineering: architects who are registered with the Italian Architect Register or Engineers who are registered with the Italian Engineer register; companies and studios whose legal representative is registered with the Italian architect or engineer register.   In case of participation in groups or by means of a company or studio, the registration must be made by the legal representative or by a group leader and it must contain the names and the contact information of each person who will contribute to the creation of the project or work.

Warnings for the contest participants
Enrollment and membership in one of the above mentioned entities must be declared in the registration form. Non-fulfillment of these requisites and false declarations will result in the exclusion of the participant from the contest as soon as House Company proves their existence, regardless of which phase of the contest has been reached.

AIM OF ECOHOUSING ART CONTEST

Emphasizing ideas, creativity, professionalism
Between openness, contaminations and exchanges, we intend to create opportunities for economic and cultural relationships. We put emphasis on the relationship between the natural and built up environment as an engine of a new economy and a new culture of life. We focus on a green industrial revolution based on clean technologies, energy efficiency, renewable energies, use of raw and treated materials, low incidence of products on the environment, from their production to their disposal.

House Company redefines the concept of “Contest” by promoting the first ever laboratory of Eco-constructive Ideas’ Living Industry. Ecohousing Art promote artists with gallerists, designer with companies, architects-engineering with builders and all Ecohousing creative and professionals with cultured citizens.

Furthermore, from February 1st 2011 to August 31st 2011, we intend to promote the online sale of the projects and artworks of the protagonists of Ecohousing Art who authorize us to do so. The authors will be solely responsible for the prices, negotiations and revenues.

1. Procedures for participation 
The artworks and projects must be original and must belong to the author(s) who present them. Non-fulfillment of this requisite will prevent the author from taking part in the contest. In case the non-fulfillment of this requisite were to emerge at a later stage, House Company will have the full faculty to annul any prize awarded to the author (with an obligation to the restitution of any amount received).
The protagonists, by taking part in Eco-constructive Ideas (work in progress, award in progress and art show in progress, online phases of artworks and projects to live spaces: the lab of the Living Industry, the first edition of the national contest “IMMOBILIARE prize 2011”) deposit and render the poetics of their work public whilst maintaining their paternity and originality. House Company intends to preserve the above mentioned originality and to intervene, while voting and analyzing the projects, with regards to violations related to potential thefts of ideas from other participants by excluding the culprits from the contest.

Warning
Junior and senior artists, designers, architects and engineers who are registered as participants in the contest may not register as users-popular jury members. In this case, the secretary of the contest will cancel their registration as members of the jury. The users-members of the popular jury may decide to register themselves as participants in the ways which are allowed by the contest regulations. In this case, the contest secretary will cancel the previous registration as member of the jury whilst maintaining any vote and comment expressed throughout the contest.  Applicable lawsThe Ecohousing Art contest is exempt from the application of the D.P.R. of the 26th of October 2001 n. 430 related to the “Regulation regarding the organic reviewing of the disciplining of contest and local manifestations according to art. 19, comma 4 of law nr. 449 of December 27th 1977” because it is dedicated to the creation of pieces of art and its prizes correspond to a compensation for the artist’s work or to a personal acknowledgement according to the above mentioned D.P.R. n. 430/2001, art. 6 comma 1, lett. A) and E).

1.1 Procedures for participation: artworks and projects
From February 15th 2010 (h. oo.oo) to January 31st 2011 (h 24.00)(*), all participants should put the following items online in the Eco-constructive Ideas work in progresssection: author/s – portfolio – title – poetry, description, caption of the image files (with its dimensions), choice of the main image file, captions describing the uploaded file. It will be possible to upload jpg files, and videos linked from YouTube. The participant will have access to his management form (CMS) where he can change the data on the artwork or project by controlling the used space with a numerical display in the form of a percentage of used Mbytes. The participant can upload all the necessary materials for a complete description of the project in his dedicated space and will have 5 Mbytes at his disposal. Each time the participant will amend his artwork/project or upload a file, the “update date” field in the public part of the website will also be updated and this will be used for the timing of artwork/project in the public part of Ecohousing Art.

1.2 Procedures for participation: sending artworks and projects
Artworks and projects must be sent to House Company Srl – Largo Repubblica, 7 – 20057 Vedano al Lambro (MB) – between February 1st and February 18th 2011 by post or hand delivery and the following sentence must appear on the envelope: “Ecohousing Art – IMMOBILIARE prize 2011” along with the progressive number the participant was provided with when he completed his registration. For all deliveries by post, the date of the stamp or of the packing list will be considered.
Any final artwork or project which is delivered after the final deadline will not be considered.

2. Procedures for registration
In order to participate, the protagonist must register hereand pay the subscription fee of € 40 (junior categories) or of € 80 (senior categories). The payment of the fee must be made through postal orders, wire transfers or PayPal to:

The registration occurs once a copy of the payment has been faxed to 039 2324894 (this must be done before the seventh day from the online registration). Once the fax has been received, the contest secretary will send the artist an email with his userid and password for the ecohousing-art.it website for the insertion of all the mandatory personal information of the artist. At the moment of the registration, House Company will provide the participant with a progressive number which must be indicated on all the material sent: artworks, prototypes, models, CDs/DVDs, printouts, project relations, technical information, resume, company presentations, envelope with the registration form and copy of the payment.

3. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ARTWORKS AND PROJECTS

3.1 ART SECTION
- For the art section we request paintings, sculptures, photographs, videos, installations, performances, digital art (…) with the following characteristics: free technique and support. At the moment of the insertion of the final work, the participant must declare the format of the work in centimeters, otherwise it will be excluded. For artworks which are obviously difficult to send, we request a minimum of 5 images (pictures) which can fully describe and interpret the poetics of the work, or of a short video on DVD. All videos must be recorded on non-rewritable DVDs. It is compulsory to provide a leaflet containing the title of the work and a description of materials and techniques used along with a description of the poetics.  

3.2 DESIGN SECTION
For the Design section, projects are required to be submitted digitally, on CD or on non-rewritable DVDs in .jpg format with a minimum number of 3 plates, maximum 10, quoted, inherent to the possible view points: front, side, perspective or orthographic views and any details. The plates must then be printed on paper, format A3 minimum. An illustrated Design Report (in *.PDF + a properly binded printout) showing the title of the project. An illustrated leaflet (in *.PDF + a properly binded printout). A full-scale prototype or reduced to be created with any material or, alternatively, 3 photorealistic renderings on CD/DVD non-rewritable discs + relevant printouts (minimum A3 size).
The realization of the model is preferred by the technical jury, in the selection for the exhibition.

3.3 ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING SECTION
For the Architecture-Engineering section, we require internal or external projects to be presented: digitally, on CD/DVD non-rewritable discs, in .jpg format with a minimum number of 3 plates, maximum 10, quoted, containing oblique and particular representations or renderings which are considered useful in representing the idea of the project. The plates are to be printed on paper (minimum A3 format). An illustrated Design Report (in *.PDF + properly binded printout) showing the title of the project. An illustrated leaflet (in *.PDF + properly binded printout). A scale model to be created with any material or, alternatively, 3 photorealistic renderings on CD/DVD non-rewritable discs + relevant printouts (minimum format A3).
The realization of the model is preferred by the technical jury, in the selection for the exhibition.

4. Artworks and projects of the participants

4.1 Use of the projects: 
By adhering to the 1st edition of the “ECOHOUSING ART – IMMOBILIARE prize 2011” national contest, every participant declares that his work or project is original, that he is the author and that his work does not violate the rights of any third party
Furthermore, the participant declares that House Company Srl has no responsibility in case of any claim or obligation which may arise in connection with this initiative. House Company Srl may decide to send pictures of the artworks and projects, also receiving compensation, with the sole obligation of indicating the name of the participant for events and publications. This right also applies to the materials and relevant information on each project and does not oblige House Company Srl to recognize any right or royalty of any kind to the participant. The participants authorize House Company Srl, in its role as promoter of the contest, to use, exhibit, publish, represent the artworks, prototypes, models and projects received by the participants and the relevant information for any publication initiative also with commercial aims, for an undetermined period of time, in any place, on any kind of support and with every means House Company deems appropriate with the sole obligation of indicating the author’s name but without the obligation of corresponding royalties or payments of any kind to the author. Each one of these initiatives is considered connected to the Living Industry.

4.2 Restitution of the artworks and of the projects: 
The descriptive material, the project material and the anagraphic material (files, printouts, leaflets, photos, reports, etc) of the art, design and architecture-engineering sections will not be returned. The artworks, prototypes and models not involved in the show must be picked up at House Company Srl – Largo Repubblica, 7 – 20057 Vedano al Lambro (MB) by May 31st 2011 at the latest. The withdrawal shall be responsibility of the participant. The exhibited artworks, prototypes and models must be picked up at the exhibition venue on the day of the dismantling. The place, date and modality of the pick will be communicated to the participants. The withdrawal shall be responsibility of the participant. After these deadlines, House Company srl will acquire full ownership and all rights resulting there from on the prototypes, designs, models and artworks, with faculty of alienation, full economic usufruct rights and disposal rights, without recognizing any rights, royalties or similar payments to the authors.

4.3 Production and exploitation rights on artworks and projects:
all involved participants will maintain authorship of the work.
From February 1st 2011 to August 31st 2011, the protagonists will have the faculty to sell work or project directly through the website. Putting the work or project up for sale is not mandatory. The price is freely determined by the relevant author, and the negotiations with potential buyers will be unregulated and discretionary. The business relationship and obligations from a law and tax point of view are of exclusive competence and responsibility of the parties which will indemnify House Company Srl from any potential responsibility and liability. House Company will not take part in the negotiation in any way, and for this reason it is not entitled to receive compensations. It is however mandatory to declare the sale, for public quotations, and the participant must guarantee full availability of the utilized materials to House Company in the interest of a positive continuation of the contest, of the art-shows and in the interest of any utilization related to them. After the award ceremony, the participants selected for the catalogues and for the shows are free to dispose of their artworks and projects for any initiative or publication, without any time limit, anywhere, on and in any medium, with the only obligation to quote the following formula:“Participant of the 1st National EcoHousing Art contest “IMMOBILIARE prize 2011″.

5. Acceptation of the contest rules
Taking part in the contest implies accepting this announcement and its rules. The data controller for this contest will be the internal data controller of House Company Srl, located at Largo Repubblica 7 – 20057 Vedano al Lambro (MB).

Ecohousing Art Contest introduces you in a collective sharing internet phenomenon, for the first time a contest asks you to exhibit your work online starting from the creative process to become the protagonists of Living Industry’s first lab.

Participation and vote modalities
The Ecohousing Art contest is divided in 3 phases:

Phase 1 Eco-constructive Ideas – Work in progress voted only by the popular jury
- All the artists, designers, architects and engineers upload and refresh their creative process on Ecohousing Art website, in their own 5MB space
– Who votes: registered users = popular jury
– What the jury votes: the creative process of the participants (scripts, images, videos)
– How many times can the jury vote: unlimited
– What can the jury vote: artworks and projects in progress
1 vote is equal to 1 per section and category of the contest junior and senior art, design, architecture-engineering
– When does the jury vote: from midnight of June 1st 2010 to midnight of January 31st 2011
– What else can the jury members do: they can comment and discuss the artworks and projects in the dedicated blog
– What does the jury decide: it decides the first 20 artworks and projects in the total ranking during the creation phase per section and category and these will appear in the 3 Ecohousing Art catalogues (Art, Design, Architecture-Engineering)– What does the jury decide: it decides the first 20 artworks and projects in the total ranking during the creation phase per section and category and these will appear in the 3 Ecohousing Art catalogues (Art, Design, Architecture-Engineering)

Phase 2: Eco-constructive Ideas – award in progress voted by the popular jury
- All the artists, designers, architects and engineers stay online, displaying their definitive artworks and projects
– Who votes: registered users = popular jury
– What the jury votes: final artworks and projects
– How many times can the jury vote: 18 (3 per section and category)
– What can the jury vote: the jury members can confirm the votes assigned during phase 1 or they can assign 18 completely new votes. 1 vote is equal to 3
– When does the jury vote: from midnight of February 19th 2011 to midnight of April 22nd 2011
– What else can the jury members do: they can comment and discuss the artworks and projects in the dedicated blog
– What does the jury decide: it decides the first 30 final artworks and projects in the total ranking during the creation phase per section and category and these will appear in the 3 Ecohousing Art catalogues and which will take part in the art show and which will compete for the IMMOBILIARE prize 2011.

Phase 2: Eco-constructive Ideas – award in progress voted by the technical jury
In the second phase of Eco-constructive Ideas – award in progress, the technical jury (in a reserved and independent manner) will select 12 artworks and projects per category and section and these will be inserted in the catalogues and will take part in the art show. These artworks will also compete for the IMMOBILIARE prize 2011.

Introduction to Phase 3: Eco-constructive Ideas – art show in progress:
The final rankings which will determine the right to take part in the art show will be zeroed before phase 3.

Phase 3: Eco-constructive Ideas – art show in progress voted by popular and technical jury
- 252 selected artworks and projects are shown at the final Exibition in Milan to be voted by both juries (All the artists, designers, architects and engineers still remain online, displaying their definitive artworks and projects, but they cannot be voted)
– Who votes: the people who visit the show* and the technical jury
*Registered users will receive a ticket for the show as members of the popular jury
– What the jury votes: final artworks and projects on exposition
– How many times can the jury vote: 1 per section and category (for a total of 6 votes)
– When does the jury vote: the exact day of the art show will be soon published on the web site
– What else can the jury members do: they can comment and discuss the artworks and projects in the dedicated blog
– What does the popular jury decide: 1 winner per section and category (for a total of 6 prizes) for the 2011 IMMOBILIARe prize. The final ranking is the total sum of the technical jury visitors.
– What does the technical jury decide: it chooses the winner for the “Special Mention” prize cured by the technical jury and by House Company.

PRIZES FOR 30.000,00 EUROS
The Living Industry values and promotes artists, designers, architects and engineers.

The first 30 artworks and projects in the final ranking per section and category – after the popular jury has expressed its vote after the second phase of the contest known as “Eco-constructive Ideas Award in Progress” – will take part in the artshow and will compete for the “ IMMOBILIARE prize 2011”, along with the 12(*) artworks and projects selected by the technical jury.
(*) House Company maintains the right to insert other worthy artworks and projects in the show.

 EcoHousing Art: the IMMOBILIARE prizes
The contest is divided into 3 sections: Art, Design and Architecture-Engineering
The winner of each section in the junior category will be awarded with a prize for a total value of 5.000 Euros (gross pre-tax amount)
The winner of each section in the senior category will be awarded with a prize for a total value of 4.000 Euros (gross pre-tax amount)

The Living Industry prize
A further prize is to awarded based on the decision of the technical committee, House Company and the Living Industry’s partner companies. The ceremony will take place on June 4th 2011.
We will inform all the participants of the exact timing and location of the show before the 27th of July 2011.

Special Events
The best artworks and projects in each category and section will be asked to take part in future events organized in order to attract the attention of companies which could potentially develop these projects, of curators, collectors and gallery owners, along with potential buyers.

THE 30.000 CATALOGUES OF ECOHOUSING ART CONTEST

372 artworks and projects will appear on the EcoHousing art catalogue

The “visions” of artists, designers, architects and engineers
30.000 copies will be distributed and associated to IMMOBILIARE 2011

House Company will produce and distribute a catalogue for each section which will contain: the first 40 artworks and projects in the ranking (*) per section, the most voted artworks and projects at the end of the first phase of the contest (known as “Eco-constructive Ideas – work in progress”); the first 60 per section in the ranking after the second phase of the contest (known as “Eco-constructive Ideas – award in progress”) and the 24 artworks and projects selected by the technical jury per section. The 180 artworks and projects voted by the popular jury at the end of phase 2 (award in progress) and the 72 artworks and projects selected by the technical jury will take part in the show and will compete for the IMMOBILIARE prize 2011.
(*) House Company will maintain the right to insert other worthy artworks and projects.

EcoHousing Art – 30.000 distributed catalogues
30.000 EcoHousing Art catalogues will be distributed individually in an exclusive package associated with the first ever Italian guide to the Living Industry, IMMOBILIARE 2011.

Special Events
The best artworks and projects which will be competing in each section will be asked to take part in further events and initiatives organized in order to attract the attention of companies which could potentially develop the projects, of curators, collectors, gallery owners and of potential buyers.

THE FINAL ARTSHOW OF ECOHOUSING ART CONTEST

252 Eco-constructive ideas will be on exhibition in Milan in 2011.

The eco-constructive ideas of the first ever Living Industry lab: an artshow in progress.
The first 30 artworks and projects in the final ranking per section and category after the second phase of the contest (known as “Eco-constructive Ideas – award in progress”) and the first 12(*) artworks or projects per section and category voted by the technical jury will take part in the show and will compete for the IMMOBILIARE prize 2011.
(*) House Company will maintain the right to insert other worthy artworks and projects and.

 The EcoHousing Art Show
It will be organized in a public exposition site in Milan. Negotiations are under way with “Palazzo Reale”, “La Triennale”, “Rotonda della Besana”, “Palazzo delle Stelline”, “Fiera di Milano”. The show will take place form May 6th to June 5th 2011. House Company will soon publish the exact dates.

 Special Events
The best artworks and projects which will be competing in each section will be asked to take part in further events and initiatives organized in order to attract the attention of companies which could potentially develop the projects, of curators, collectors, gallery owners and of potential buyers.

Warning for the participants
The selected protagonists for the show will be contacted via e-mail, telephone or regular mail from the Secretary of the contest in order to reach an agreement on the material, the delivery timing and the modality for their participation.
